Praying the Labyrinth
Speaker: Jill Geoffrion
Saturday 22 April 10h-17h at ACP
Are you longing for time with God? Would you like to learn about a form of prayer that will open you up to experience the great love Christ has for you? Then join us for this year's women's retreat!
First, you will learn about the history and purposes of labyrinth pathways and why the faithful have been walking the labyrinth for centuries. You will then be guided in various ways to use this spiritual tool yourself. There will be plenty of space and time for quiet and solitude, allowing you to experience this beautiful way of connecting with God ... praying the labyrinth.
Christ's love is the focus of this year's retreat. The entire day will be an act of worship as we listen, pray, reflect and spend time in His presence. We will learn, eat, sing and have fellowship together. Much of the day will provide time for women to walk the labyrinth and commune with the Lord.
The retreat will also have all-day childcare. Kids in childcare will be having their own retreat, complete with gym time, game time, Bible stories, arts and crafts and Bible shows. The nursery will be available for babies too!
