Gifts in support of the ministries and mission of the American Church in Paris may be made directly to the Church or to our United States sponsor, the American and Foreign Christian Union (AFCU).

The American Church in Paris is a French association cultuelle which is authorized to receive gifts and bequests by a decision of the Prefect of Paris. Under current rules, gifts made to the Church generally entitle an individual donor to a reduction in French income taxes equal to 66% of the amount given, subject to a limit of 20% of the donor’s taxable income. Corporations may deduct gifts to the Church from their French taxable income.

The AFCU is registered as a not-for-profit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the US Internal Revenue Code. Gifts made to the AFCU, for the benefit of the American Church in Paris, are deductible from the donor’s US taxable income. U.S.-denominated checks may be sent to the Treasurer, AFCU, P.O.
