Shining the "Light of the World" in all corners of the globe

SPECIAL NOTICE:
THE EASTER OFFERING
 (Sunday, March 23) will be used to support 4 Global Ministry Partners of the Social Concerns/Mission Outreach Committee of The American Church. You may donate cash or make your checks payable to one of the following organizations:

1.  Habitat for Humanity (Checks payable to ACP Habitat Mission).  Supporting ACP’s mission trip to Macedonia this summer to build a Habitat home.
2.  King’s Garden Children’s Home (Checks payable to A/G Financial Services Group - Kings Garden).  Christian orphanage in the Philippines.
3.  Open House (Checks payable to Friends of Open House).  Summer camp bringing together Israeli and Palestinian children to play and learn about each other, with campouts and peace workshops. 
4.  Rafiki Villages in Uganda and Nigeria (Checks payable to Rafiki Foundation ).  Rafiki villages provide housing, medical care and schooling for orphans and other children.
  • Association of Christians Against Torture

The Association of Christians Against Torture (ACAT) is a protestant organization that writes letters, petitions, and emails to governments and organizations to advocate against torture and for the humanitarian treatment of prisoners.  Read more about ACAT.

  • Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity has started their project for building a home in Macedonia from August 5 to 17. Please stop by their table after the 11 a.m. service to learn more about them, participate in the raffle for a beautiful quilt, or sign up to volunteer for this wonderful mission trip.

Habitat for Humanity (HFH) works in partnership with God and people everywhere to develop communities with God's people in need by building and renovating houses worldwide. ACP raises funds and sends a team of volunteers to another country for one to two weeks each summer to build a house for a family in need. Read more about HFH at ACP

  • The Rafiki Foundation

Rafiki Villages provides outreach for orphans and other children in Africa, especially those victimized by the AIDS epidemic, through homes for orphans, Bible teaching, schooling, and healthcare. Currently ACP supports JoAnn Neal, a missionary with the Rafiki Foundation in Uganda, and Lee and Dianne Johnson at the Rafiki Village in Nigeria.

  • Beit El Safa and Open House

Beit El Safa is a home and school for girls in Lebanon who are orphaned or have been the victims of violence. Open House is an organization dedicated to bringing Israeli and Palestinian children together to learn about each other and lay the foundation for peace.

  • King's Garden Children's Home

ACP regularly sends clothing, toys, supplies, and financial support to this orphanage in the Philippines.
