The ACP is registered as a French religious, non-profit organization, or an "association cultuelle sous l'article 18 de la loi du 9 décembre 1905."
It is supported and sponsored in part by the American and Foreign Christian Union (AFCU) in New York.
It is governed by the Church Council made up of members of the congregation representing various committees carrying on the work of the Church.
