Dan is the Director of Youth and Young Adults at The American Church in Paris. Before coming to Paris in 2011, he served as a youth pastor for ten years in New York. Additionally, he has served as an adjunct professor of youth ministry at Nyack College, Alliance Theological Seminary and Andover Newton Theological Seminary.
He is ordained in the Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination and received his Master of Divinity in church development from Alliance Theological Seminary. Dan is a social media "coach" and leads workshops and seminars for youth workers with Barefoot Ministries. Dan has written for Immerse Journal and Youthworker Journal and authors the blog www.emergingyouth.com.
Dan has a passion for the global reach of God's Kingdom and serving the less fortunate and has traveled to over 30 countries. He is actively involved in NGO's such as World Vision, Compassion International and Orchids of Light Foundation and serves as a Vice President for Research and Development for Air Calvary.
He is married to Lauretta and they recently welcomed twin boys, Jack and Blake into the world on December 14, 2012.
Dan is an avid sports fan and is especially fond of Boston sports teams. In his spare time he enjoys reading a good book, traveling abroad, exploring the great city of Paris, and relaxing in a café with an espresso.
