Liturgical Dance

liturgical-dance

Monday mornings, 10h00 to 11h15 in the Theatre

The ACP Liturgical Dance group offers a "holistic approach" to dance and movement, meaning it leads to a more complete awareness with a total mind, body, and soul balance. It is a set floor-barre using core work for better posture and stretching with balletic/modern dance sensibilities to enhance body awareness.

Based on a combined style of ballet and contemporary, with spiritual overtones and imagery, the classes are open to men, women, and children. They are designed for anyone with the love of dance, the desire to move, and the physical ability to participate in the classes. No prior dance experience is necessary and classes are open to both ACP members and non-ACP members.

Sport and Movement Activities are also held by ACP Community (non-church activities) within the ACP building. For a list of those opportunities please click here.
