Adult and Youth Biblical Study and Instruction

Feeding the mind and growing the soul through deeper understanding of the Word.

Teaching and learning are essential to our ability to think and act faithfully as a church from generation to generation. Therefore, we are committed to the development and support of an educational program for all ages that cultivates a high level of biblical literacy and theological understanding and nourishes the vital practice of Christian discipleship.

A Call to Live — Small Groups

We encourage you to participate in ACP's all-church small-group studies. Our aim is widespread participation. Small group studies are being held in homes throughout the city, as well as the church house, on different days and times. The groups combine Bible study, community, and practical action.

Interested in leading a new group? Please contact Anne. Leaders will be given prayer and a short training by Pastor Wahila.

The following groups are formed and ready to welcome participants:

    • Weekly study, Paris VI, Wednesday evening with Camilla Furman
    • Couple study, twice a month, Versailles, with Angela and Dominique Grelet
    • Saturday morning brunch circle with Felicia Henderson
    • Community Bible Study International study of First John on Sundays from 15h30 to 17h00 in the library. As the study guide suggests, "The First Letter of John is tender, reassuring, affectionate and practical." Please contact Ariel Brown for further information.

Please come to our welcome table during the coffee hour or contact the group leaders directly.

Tuesday Morning Women's Bible Study

All are welcome to the Women’s Bible Study that meets from 10h30–12h30 on Tuesdays except during school holidays in the ACP Catacombs. We are studying Ephesians, using Warren Wiersbe's book: Be Rich: Gaining the Things That Money Can't Buy. Participants will be responsible for purchasing their own copy (available via internet or through WH Smith bookstore). Come along even if you don't yet have a copy of the book. We're good at sharing! This is a group of women who pray for one another, study God’s word together, and enjoy time of fellowship. Childcare is available for a minimal fee. For more information please contact Jennifer Jourlait.
