Sunday Educational Programs for Youth

feeding the mind and growing the soul through deeper understanding of the Word

Crossroads

Middle School / Young Teenagers
Before Easter: Sundays, 10:00 to 10:45 a.m.
After Easter: Sundays, 12:15 to 1:30 p.m.

We seek to open up the stories in the Bible in fresh ways.  This will happen through various activities including discussion and the arts. This year Crossroads classes are loosely following the Witness Curriculum, whose motto is “Learn from the Bible to Live the Good News,”  as we attempt to explore how the Bible affects our lives in our families, our schools, and our world.

The new schedule beginning after Easter will be a combined lunch/Sunday School lesson for Youth.

Bridge

High School / Older Teenagers
Sundays, 10:00 to 10:45 a.m.

This year's Bridge group is exploring stories in the Bible (a different one each week) and discussing the many different facets in each story.  Who are the main characters and what is their history in the Biblical text? How does God interact with the people in the story and how do the people respond? What is happening behind the scenes that might give us a deeper and richer understanding to the story? etc.  Students are encouraged to share their ideas and perspectives so we may all participate in the learning process.

Confirmation Classes

Teenagers
Sundays, 4:00 to 5:20 p.m.
