The Renewal of Vows Ceremony is provided for couples who desire to renew their marriage vows on special occasions such as anniversaries. This is a brief ceremony most often without music; however, if desired, music may be organized by our music director.
Meeting with the pastor prior to the ceremony helps make the occasion more personal and meaningful. You are encourage to share significant experiences as a married couple during the planning of your ceremony.
Our traditional vow renewal bulletin will be provided by our wedding coordinator. Some personalization is possible; however, all changes and additions need to be discussed with and approved by the pastoral assistant. Family and friends are welcome to participate in the ceremony. Contact the wedding coordinator with your requests.
The sanctuary is booked for one hour. The ceremony may last from 10 to 15 minutes depending on what has been discussed with the pastoral assistant (and the music director). The rest of the time is dedicated to photographs, signing of the wedding certificate and the wedding book, and the greeting of the couple before and after the ceremony.
