“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God – what is good and acceptable and perfect... We have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us...” (Romans 12)
The ministry of the American Church depends on you. The ACP relies on your gifts to fund its programs, operations, and outreach. The American and Foreign Christian Union (AFCU), our parent organization, pays the senior pastor’s salary, the church taxes and insurance. All other expenses are financed by the ACP’s operating budget, of which your gifts are an important component. The American Church's operating costs depend primarily on the generosity of its members and alumni around the world who have been touched by its ministry.
Contributions in either Euros or Dollars are accepted. If you wish your gift to be tax-deductible in the United States, you must make your check payable to our parent organization "The American Foreign Christian Union" (AFCU) and put the words "for ACP" on the memo line of your check. In France, your gift in Euros is deductible under the category "Oeuvres reconnues d'Utilite' Publique ou fiscalement assimile en matiere de dons." The church issues year-end receipts of giving acceptable for French tax authorities. To find out more about how you can help secure the future of the ACP through bequests, charitable trusts, and other forms of planned giving, speak to one of the pastors.
The apostle Paul writes “We have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us...” meaning that we've all been given grace by our generous God. We encourage you to remember how generous God has been to you and how secure your future is in Christ. We are convinced that we have received blessings so that we can be a blessing for others within our community, in the city of Paris, and around the world.
