Traditional and Contemporary Services two styles to worship and praise God, one harmonious message of God's love

Overflow seating is available in Room G7 for the 11:00 service during
the period of sanctuary renovation

We consider the Service of Worship to be at the heart of our life together at ACP. Through our dynamic music programs, the reading and preaching of the Scriptures, congregational prayer, a special time for our children, and a variety of special occasions associated with the Church's liturgical calendar, we give ourselves to the worship of God each and every Sunday. Holy Communion is celebrated weekly at the 9:00 service and on the first Sunday of each month as well as on the major Christian festivals at the 11:00 service. Baptisms, both infant and adult, are performed during the worship services at various times throughout the year.
Child care is available for children under 18 months old in the nursery on the basement level during the 11:00 service only. Please remember to pick up your children before going to coffee hour.
Cell phones will not function during the services.
New Contemporary
Service
Sundays at
1:30 p.m.
Our new contemporary services are an exciting and fulfilling way to worship God in a different, less traditional setting. With a relaxed and dressed-down atmosphere, the one-hour contemporary service is led by our pastoral staff and includes modern praise singing, led by a song director. The sermon, which is the same sermon given in the traditional services, is presented by one of our pastors. To read more about the contemporary service, please view this article from the January 2008 issue of the Spire monthly magazine.
Cell phones will not function during the service.
