Our salvation is founded on grace. | • “By grace [we] have been saved through faith, and this is not [our] own doing; it is the gift of God.” (Ephesians 2:8). |
The LORD alone is the sovereign creator and judge of all that is seen and unseen. | • “All things came into being through him, and without him not one thing came into being.” (John 1:3) |
There is no partiality in Christ. | • “There is no longer Jew or Greek, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male and female, for all of you are one in Christ Jesus.” (Galatians 3:28) |
We are called by the LORD to strengthen each other in our relationship with Him and to bear witness in word and deed to the love and mercy of Christ Jesus. | • “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” (Matthew 22:37-40). |
Therefore,
We believe that we are called to love and welcome all people of all socio-economic backgrounds, ethnicities, races, nationalities, gender identities, and sexual orientations.
We believe that all who place their faith in Jesus Christ and seek to be his disciple may become members of our church.
We believe that all members of the ACP should have the same rights and responsibilities.
