"If you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in the darkness..." Isaiah 58:10

The Mission Lunch began in the early 90s with a hot lunch cooked and served by 3 volunteers to about 20 needy. The Mission Lunch was conceived as an expression of hospitality, where everyone would be treated with dignity and respect in an environment where social spirit and fellowship are given special importance. Now, nearly 20 years later, the Mission Lunch has grown to 60-64 guests, with numerous volunteers, many who participate week after week.

Every Friday from 10am to 2pm, the Mission Lunch Program provides a free, cooked lunch to the homeless or hungry in Paris. An ACP team of volunteers organizes the lunch on the second Friday of each month. We also welcome volunteers every week for cooking, serving and cleaning-up.
